Lenovo G570 Core i5 processor

Lenovo G570 Core i5 processor

While Lenovo is known for its business laptops, the company has been making consumer machines for a while. The Lenovo G570 ($ 749) is a 15-inch laptop has a touch a little more than its ThinkPad cousins, with a glossy cover and a metal palm rest. But you also get ThinkPad-like attractions, including a keyboard AccuType. Add to that a fast processor Intel Core i5 and a roomy 500GB hard drive and you have a solid system.

With the exception of a single bit to the rear, the Lenovo G570 looks quite smooth when closed. A bright chrome Lenovo logo adds a little personality, but the plastic glossy dark brown lid is a magnet for fingerprints. Interior laptop looks better, thanks to its black brushed aluminum cover. Matte black keyboard resides in a recessed space surrounded by a thin strip of dark chrome. The touchpad is also slightly sunken and surrounded by a thin strip of chrome lighter.

Located above the keyboard on the left is the power button and a button to start the OneKey recovery software. In terms of aesthetics, we prefer the elegant HP Pavilion dv6t brushed aluminum exterior and interior dark amber finish with silver accents helped to highlight the rounded edges of the laptop and more elegant, clean lines.

Measuring 14.8 x 9.8 x 0.6 to 1.3 inches and weighing 5.2 pounds, the G570 is easy to move around the house or office and there was light enough for one and a half a standing-room-only trip meter.
